Here's what Christie had to say about her tutorial:  I know there are tutorials for diaper clutches that have been around everywhere for a few years.  I’ve been making mine for three years now, and it’s always a great go-to baby shower gift.  Out of everything my friends or family order for me to make, this would be the top one.  So I just thought I’d share how I make mine, complete with a pattern download.

Colleen's bio - Having been active in craft shows, events and sales through local craft stores during the 1980’s and 1990’s, organizing and running my own show for several years during the “turn of the century”; I now like to share what I’ve learned. Lately that’s been penny rugs.

I enjoy working with and collecting wool, new, used and vintage. Penny rugs are a great way to recycle and reuse any fabric. Scrap Ribbon Wallet/Clutch and Scrap Ribbon Belt Free Tutorial by Ashley Hacksaw of Lil Blue Boo

I have bags and bags of scrap ribbon lying around - waiting to be used.  I'm not exactly sure why but I'm saving it for when I need it.  Well, to my delight Ashley Hacksaw of  Lil Blue Boo had a couple ideas on her Lil Blue Boo blog for making a scrap ribbon wallet/clutch and making a scrap ribbon belt.  Have fun with all your scraps.

I was going to wait until after Thanksgiving to post the tutorial, but I had so many requests that I thought I'd do it early. Here's what Ashley had to say about her tutorial:  I have so many ribbon scraps that are under 2" and I've contemplated throwing them out many times. This is what I came up with to use them all up....a ribbon belt. But you could use this technique for tons of other things....a headband, a purse strap, a drink coaster.....I had to narrow it down eventually!

Update: Project time is about 2 hours. Sewing the belt in small increments actually makes it go faster than you think.....
